Associate Housing-

Associate Artist Housing consists of individual rooms divided into two wings. Each unit is equipped with a full sized bed, work desk, radio alarm clock, small refrigerator and private bath with shower. Bed and bath linens are provided. Housekeeping services are not provided during the residency.

Wireless internet is provided in Associate housing, but the rooms do not have a television or phone. A telephone is available at the Commons for free local calls. A calling card can be purchased in town for long distance or international calls. Coin-operated laundry machines are located by room 15 of Associate Housing, and they cost $1 per machine.

Think dorm rather than hotel. There’s no maid service, no room service, no TV (there is wifi), no hair dryers, no shampoo, no mint on the pillow. Just clean bed linens and fresh towels and one replacement set if you want to “do it yourself” … and a teeny tiny bar of soap. The rooms are a good size with a long desk/counter and a small fridge. Each room has its own private bath with shower stall. What it lacks in luxury it makes up for in convenience

Each tri-level residence is 800 sq.ft. of creatively designed living space with a soaring 20 foot ceiling, an elevated kitchen with all amenities, loft-style bedroom, private bath and even a laundry room!  

Whether you want to enjoy solitude, privacy to bring a spouse, or just have plenty of room to entertain friends, the privacy and convenience can’t be beat for a true retreat experience…  also great to share with a friend (or two) as each has a queen size bed in the loft and a sofa sleeper in the great room.
